CERA and SRA Join Forces!
We've
discussed it for some time and this year it has finally become a reality.
Starting January of 2007, The Community Education and Resource Affiliation, Inc.
will be joining it's monthly meetings with the Senior Resource Alliance.
Nothing will officially change for CERA as each organization will maintain it's
own 501(c)(3), board members, titles, missions statements, etc.
When the head of
each organization got together we realized that, although not identical, we
maintain similar missions. As the health care market in Central Florida
continues to grow, we want to provide Seniors and Health Care Professionals with
as much meaningful information as possible, taking up the least amount of their
time.
As mentioned
before, nothing will "officially" change. Here are some important items to
take note of:
-
Our monthly
meeting time and location will stay the same. The first Thursday of
each month at 11:30am at Gina's Grille in Altamonte Springs. SRA has
changed their meeting time to accommodate us.
-
There will be
no charge for meetings from now on out.
-
Membership
will still be available to CERA members at $60 annually. See the
Members page of the website for more details.
