Meet our Board
President, Nina Corsi
Nina is employed
as an Account Manager with
Evercare,
a company of the United Health Group. Evercare offers a state
sponsored, care managed program for community based elderly which gives services such as home health,
respite care, daycare, escorting services, housekeeping, Assisted Living and many more
to keep Seniors in their home.
Nina is a board member for Florida Senior Programs which oversees the The
Foster Grandparent Program and The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.
She is Vice
President of the Florida State Guardianship Association and Treasurer for the
Florida Assisted Living Affiliation Central FL Chapter. She also
serves on several committees with her local Chamber of Commerce and the

Vice President, Sally Kopke
Sally has served as Community Program Director for
Baldwin-Fairchild Cemeteries & Funeral Homes for the past eighteen
years. In addition to her work with SEF as V.P. and participating in our
speaker's bureau, she also serves on the Board for Widowed Persons Service
of Greater Orlando Inc., Central Florida Association for Death Education and
Counseling, Advisory Committees for Suicide Prevention and Awareness and the
Central Florida Partnership to Improve End of Life Care. She may be

Treasurer, Julie Carter
Julie Carter is a hospice
care consultant for Samaritan Care Hospice, a local hospice agency serving
Orange and Osceola counties. Hospice care is for people who have a life
expectancy of six months or less and have chosen to focus on palliative
care, comfort and relief from pain and symptoms. This service is covered by
most insurance companies and is unlimited in length. Please contact Julie

Legal, Debra G. Simms, Esq.
Debra is an attorney in solo practice
serving Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and Volusia Counties. Her
practice areas include elder law, estate planning, probate,
guardianship, corporate, real estate, family law, adoption, and
mediation. She is an approved attorney for AARP. She is also a member
of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. In addition to serving
on the Board of CERA, Debra is a Board Member of the Seminole Cultural
Arts Counsel and the Jewish Family Services Association. She is also a
Rotarian. She has been practicing law since 1988 and also worked with
Seniors as a social worker prior to pursuing law. Contact:

Secretary - Events, Nicole Sahr
Nicole has been working in
the home health care field for 8 years. She is currently employed by Right
at Home as Director of Community Relations. Right at Home offers quality,
in-home care and assistance to the Central Florida community. Right at Home
is proud to have dependable and caring employees that are insured, trained
